yPlay is a small music player made to be simple to use, without the need of having too much controls. It just includes basic controls of any music player such as volume, previous track, next track, play, stop pause, and repeat current track.
To play files, you have to drag and drop them to the main window. After the music files were added, you can randomize them. If you select one or more files, you will be able to perform different actions: you can add the selected files to a playlist; copy to another folder; write a M3U playlist file, rename, delete from disk, etc. Playlists can be accessed from the right side of the main window.
The program has two display modes; the normal mode that shows all the music files and playlists, and the minimal interface mode that shows only the playing back buttons. An icon is also added to the system tray, so you can completely hide the application and keep playing the music.
In the settings windows, you can browse and select a folder to play its music files, scan subdirectories, display times for all files, activate speak controls on mouse over, and select another skin. The last thing to point out is that the program can be executed from the command line.
